You can fix the broken heart of a tiny baby this Christmas.  Will you help us give the extraordinary gift of life?

This year we commemorated 31 years since the world’s worst nuclear disaster that occurred in Chernobyl and three generations later the toxic environment continues to poison, damage and destroy  generations of families. 

This year, at just 6 months old, little Alicia's life was hanging in the balance due to a congenital heart defect known as 'Chernobyl Heart' as a result of radiation exposure before she was even born. 

Sadly, Alicia is not alone.  

Every year over 6,000 children are born with  conditions such as Chernobyl Heart. Tragically, without emergency heart surgery, over half of these children will die before they reach the age of 6.

Thanks to incredible Irish generosity, little Alicia will celebrate Christmas at home with her family...with a strong heart! 

Our Irish funded Cardiac Surgeons battled against the odds and saved Alicia's tiny broken heart.  Her future is now bright, but there are so many more that need our helping hand. 

Anastasia, this Christmas you can give the most powerful gift of all...the gift of a bright future, full of hope! 

I cannot think of a more extraordinary gift to give a child this Christmas season, than the gift of life.
