Dear Anastasia,
The Big Give's match funding goes quickly -please get online as soon as you can after the site opens at 10AM to double your donation to help Asian elephants like Nunai.
Nunai was just a baby when she lost her herd and fell into a ditch in Assam, India. Luckily, she was rescued and brought to IFAW's Wildlife Rescue Centre.
The photo above shows her shortly after she arrived -- she had terrible injuries to her trunk and eye, and was malnourished and dehydrated. But I'm thrilled to tell you that she survived, recovered well, and is now being raised so she can one day be released into a protected forest where a family of previously-released elephants now happily roams.
IFAW has joined the Big Give challenge this year to raise money to help Asian elephants just like Nunai.
Will you please help? For as long as funds are available, your Big Give donation can be matched - doubling your impact for Asian elephants like Nunai.
What a wonderful Christmas present to give to endangered elephants!
As of 10AM GMT today, the site is ready to accept donations again. So please give now to help save Asian elephants like Nunai - and have the opportunity to have your gift matched.
From Nunai, and from all the other Asian elephants your matched gift can help,
Thank you!
John Berry Head of UK Leadership Giving
P.S. Please note that the Big Give Challenge opens at 10AM GMT - once funds are exhausted for the day, the site won't allow you to donate again today. But you can give tomorrow -- Saturday 8th December -- starting at 10AM GMT. Thanks so much!

Worried about Donating online?
I used to be too… so I made sure our online system is safe, secure, and state-of-the-art. It also eliminates check-processing costs, so more money goes directly to saving animals. But if you prefer to donate by phone or mail, simply click here for address information.
