The Regional Prosecutor's office is investigating this case of abuse in the southern Bulgarian town of Asenovgrad. It is reported that a 55-year-old man dragged the dog behind his car as punishment for killing two chicks. He drove to a nearby ravine and threw the dog there. The dog was found alive, but suffered terrible wounds all over its body.
The pain this dog went through is completely unacceptable. The man responsible must be given a harsh sentence and must know that this kind of treatment of a defenseless animal who was just acting on his instincts will not be tolerated!
